FOUNTAIN AND PERKINS
is a corner like any other
where drivers in their
steel bubbles ignore
the homeless needles
with their cardboard
signs of distress
most times the needles
only leave scratches
but every time a window
opens, a dollar is passed,
another bubble is pierced
