My Country, My peace.

My beautiful country of stars,
dwindling in the dark feet of
scars;
thy wealth are hungry,
feet are set on the weary path
of drought across the valley.

My great land of gold,
be bold, fight tall and strong for
your seeds of inheritance hidden
across the shores:
restore your freedom to the fold
of your inhabitants,
bless their hands to feed your
grasses to survive.
My beautiful city of peace,
guide thy gates to resist the arms of
wars and turbulence:
oh prey, defile not the tidings of values
to the streaks of corruption.

My bountiful borders across the scales
and valleys of trees,
I’m thirsty for the overflow of comfort
beneath the buds of thy waters.
